Audio DSP Engineer:
 
Position: Senior Software Engineer – AUDIO Software Development
 
Role:

• Automotive (quality) entertainment software development
• Independently design & develop (fixed point) the audio signal processing algorithms on HiFi2/3/4/BBE16
• Develop prototype audio/radio application to demonstrate the platform capabilities
• Highly self-motivated Team player & involvement with multi-site teams on the technical engagements

 
Essential

• Proven record of Strong HiFi2/3 assembly level programming skills in Audio Processing
• Expertise in Xtensa development tool chain including the Profiler (for cycles/memory optimization) and debugger
• Proficient Embedded C programming and fixed point design skills
• Hands on Experience in Digital Signal Processing & Strong in audio fundamentals
• Experience on Audio quality measurements using Audio Precision equipment (Audio Precision, Labview tools)
• Ability to Test & Debug (Lauterbach) the software on the target boards

 
Added value

• Experience in developing Audio post processing algorithms is a Plus
• Expertise in integrating the modules & performing integrations tests
• Thorough experience interfacing with audio peripherals: I2S, SPDIF, TDM, Analog (ADC/DAC), PCM

 
The ideal candidate will have an experience of around 5 to 6 years. An engineering graduate (electronics & communication discipline) would suffice,
A post graduate candidate with specialized area may be preferred. However, that doesn't compensate on the years of experience!
